Toughing it out

Around 3:30 this morning the phone rang. It was my Iron-superstar roommate, Tania. She had just finished less than an hour earlier, which I tried to catch on livestream.

Tania told me about her journey and how all athletes had to tough it out that day. With inferno-hot conditions, strong sun and show stopping headwinds - it took guts. And thankfully, all of our friends finished safely.
